Biography:

Syed Hammad Ahmed holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida, where he specialized in Vision-Language Models and Multimodal Learning. He earned his M.S. in Computer Science from Lahore University of Management Sciences and his B.S. from FAST-NUCES.

As an Assistant Professor at FAST-NUCES, and founding faculty member of the Department of Computer Science at DHA Suffa University, Hammad has made significant contributions to curriculum design and founded the Suffa Innovation Labs Tech Incubator. His academic interests include exploring and integrating effective pedagogical tools and methodologies into his teaching.

Before entering academia, Hammad worked at Avanza Solutions, a leading software company in the region. His research focuses on automated content moderation through multimodal deep learning frameworks, and he has published several papers in prestigious conferences and journals. Hammad’s achievements include receiving the Fulbright Scholarship, LUMS Merit Scholarship, Best Teacher, and Best Poster awards.
