Dr. Asgher Ali, a distinguished mathematician, holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from LUMS, Lahore. His academic journey includes master’s degrees from LUMS and the University of the Punjab, along with a bachelor’s degree from Govt. College of Science, Lahore. He specializes in optimal control theory, numerical analysis, and mathematical modeling.
As an educator, Dr. Ali has made significant contribution across various institutions. He has taught courses ranging from Pre-Calculus to Calculus at LUMS, followed by Inferential Statistics at the University of Management Technology, and Quantitative Methods at the University of Central Punjab.
His research focuses on optimal control problems and antibiotic dosing strategies, resulting in publications in prestigious journals such as PLOS ONE. Dr. Ali’s exploration into Neural Network-driven computational approaches and Gradient Descent Method showcases his commitment to solving complex mathematical problems.
