Biography
Dr. Syed Arsalan Javed is an academician, researcher, integrated-circuits designer, and entrepreneur with 16 years of experience across the semiconductor industry — including ST Microelectronics, Analog Devices, King Abdulaziz City of Science and Technology, Open-Silicon, and NESCOM — and academia. He headed the Avionics Engineering Department at PAF-KIET from 2014 to 2023, achieving Level-2 Washington Accord OBE accreditation and securing significant research funding from Ignite National Technology Fund, HEC, National Center of AI, National Center of Robotics, and international partners, while his research group designed, tested, and published ten ASICs over ten years.
He is the founder and director of EBioSensors4Life Pvt. Ltd., a startup developing low-cost health-tech for point-of-care diagnostics and educational simulators, and is Co-PI of the upcoming National Center of Nano Science and Technology, a national semiconductor infrastructure initiative spanning 11 labs across Pakistan. He also procured Pakistan’s first commercial CAD tools license for full-custom mixed-signal ASIC design in 2012.
