Head of Digital Media Marketing

The Head of Digital Media at Habib University is responsible for overseeing the university’s digital media strategy and ensuring its alignment with the institution’s overall marketing and communications goals. This includes managing a team of digital media professionals, developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns, and analysing and reporting on the performance of digital media channels. The Head of Digital Media also works closely with other departments within the university, such as admissions, development, and academic departments, to ensure that digital media efforts support their goals and objectives. Additionally, the Head of Digital Media may be responsible for managing the university’s website and social media accounts, as well as developing and implementing SEO and SEM strategies.

Core focus would be on the restructuring and development of Habib University’s website. The incumbent will be leading the team, collaborating with IT & creative partner on the website’s conceptualization, guide the internal team through the product development stages, and oversee the live deployment of HU website.

Project Manager, Accreditation

The position of Project Manager, Accreditation is a crucial role in Habib University’s pursuit of accreditation and recognition by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). NECHE accredits over 200 institutions in the US, including prestigious ivy league universities like Harvard and Yale, as well as liberal arts colleges such as Amherst College and Williams College. Currently, there are no universities in Pakistan or South Asia recognized by NECHE, and Habib University is taking steps to change this.

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating NECHE accreditation efforts. This includes, but is not limited to, staying up to date on NECHE standards and requirements, and coordinating with different programs and offices to ensure timely submission of required applications and reports. The Manager will also be working closely with the university leadership to strategize based on accreditation feedback and ensure that the university meets or exceeds accreditation standards.

This role is instrumental in managing Habib University’s relationship with NECHE, and attention to detail, organization, project management, collaboration, and communication skills are key. The Manager will be expected to develop a strong understanding of the prescribed standards, so as to best suggest how they can be effectively integrated in support of the university’s core mission and goals.

Team Lead – Career Advising and Training (Deputy Manager)

Team Lead Career Advising and Training will lead a team of Career Development Advisor, Peer Career Mentors and Student Career Trainers.

Besides leading the team, Team Lead will directly engage with the undergraduate students to help them explore relevant career information and guide them in making realistic and thoughtful choices about their future which may include acquiring a relevant employment or getting admission into a grad school or initiating their own enterprise. The Team Lead will also be responsible for designing and conducting career skill building programs in collaboration with faculty and industry experts to help students for the smooth transition from University to their future destination. In collaboration with the team, the team Lead will also be required to develop a variety of career resources to help students for building their skills and enhancing their knowledge about various careers, processes and tools.

Career resources, advice and training will include but not limited to guide students for developing thoughtful career plans, teaching them essential career skills, helping them in networking with relevant industries, developing tools to showcase themselves, assisting with the grad school application process, preparing them for interviews, guiding them to develop appropriate tools to introduce themselves and showcase their skill set etc.

Assistant Manager / Manager – Media/Public Relations

Assistant Manager/ Manager, Media/Public Relations focuses on protecting and bolstering the reputation of the university by identifying, developing and pitching stories to the media that reflect Habib University’s strategic priorities. PR manager along with HOD serves as the main contact for the local, regional and national press; coordinate interviews and visits with reporters and arranging coverage for events on campus. The manager PR plays a major role in shaping Habib’s communications strategy in emergency crisis situations. Officer-Student Recruitment & Admissions

Officer, Student Recruitment and Admissions will be responsible for assisting with the overall supervision and efficacy of various HUTOPS activities. This includes assisting with the planning and implementing strategies for engaging with local examination board students, parents, counsellors and principals. This will entail supporting with devising a variety of activities, such as representing HU through workshops during admissions season, conducting campus tours, organizing yield events, participating in HUTOPS admissions tests, orientation/information sessions and summer prep session, to name a few. The incumbent will help in devising student engagement plan to enhance student yield along with assisting with HUTOPS activities. Furthermore, the candidate will plan various strategies to engage students through multiple mediums, which will include but not be limited to email, SMS and postal communication. Alongside, incumbent will assist with the ongoing student recruitment and admissions activities as per requirements.
