Biography
Nadia Nasir was promoted to Lecturer II in the Computer Science program at Habib University in September 2023, having joined as Lecturer I in August 2018. She teaches Programming Fundamentals, Database Systems, Data Structures and Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming and Design Methodologies, and has supervised multiple undergraduate final-year projects. She serves on the Khidmat Committee, where she has contributed to proposal and report reviews and organized the Khidmat Konnect event, and has also served on the Lab and Kaavish committees. She began at Habib as a Research Assistant in the CS Department (2017–2018), conducting labs, grading, and tutorials.
Before Habib, Nadia taught O-Level Computer Science at The Intellect School (2016–2017) and was a Lab Instructor at FAST–National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Karachi (2012–2014), conducting labs in Introduction to Computing, Computer Programming (C++), Data Structures, and Databases. She began her teaching career at Aptech Computer Education (2010–2016), rising from Faculty Member to Academic Coordinator (Quality Assurance) and later Faculty Head, delivering hands-on training in programming, web development, and mobile application development. She holds an NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute certificate in Fundamentals of Accelerated Computing with CUDA C/C++, reflecting her continued interest in AI and machine learning.
