Biography
Dr. Yasmeen Jamali is a dedicated scholar and researcher, holding a doctorate in Demography from Université Panthéon-Sorbonne Paris 1 in France. Born on February 14, 1989, in Pakistan, she has emerged as a passionate advocate for advancing our understanding of demographic trends, with a particular focus on young women’s agency in Balochistan.
Yasmeen’s commitment to academic excellence is mirrored in her publications. Notably, her research paper, “An Appraisal of Women’s Higher Education in Balochistan; Discourse, Norms, and Reality,” presented at an international conference, highlights her contribution to the discourse on educational dynamics in specific cultural settings.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Yasmeen has also contributed to the academic community through co-organizing an International Study Day on Population Health and presenting her research at various conferences and seminars.
