Sitting Judge, Sindh High Court
The Habib University is honored to welcome to new Board members. Justice Muhammad Faisal Kamal Alam, an honorable sitting judge of the Sindh High Court and Dr. Fateh Marri, Vice Chancellor, Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam.
Justice Muhammad Faisal Kamal Alam was enrolled to practice before the High Courts of Pakistan in the year 1997 and in 2008 was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pakistan. In an illustrious career of over 20 years, he advocated approximately 800 cases in the High Courts of Pakistan, a number of landmark cases in the Supreme Court of Pakistan, and has 42 reported judgements to his name as a lawyer. In July 2014, Mr. Justice Alam was appointed as Advisor Legal Affairs to the President of Pakistan [Secretariat], and served in this position till 29.10.2015.
On 30.10.2015, Justice Alam took oath as Judge of the High Court of Sindh and has served on the Bench for almost 7 years. During the course of his tenure, he has also served as, Chairman of Legal Research Cell (Sindh High Court), Member Information Technology Committee, and Member Board of Governor for Sindh Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS).
