Habib University’s Talent Outreach, Promotion and Support (HUTOPS) initiative is a fully funded program designed to ensure deserving students all over Pakistan can benefit from a world-class education. It is a reflection of HU’s commitment to providing quality education for all young people, irrespective of their educational, socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds.

The HUTOPS program identifies brilliant students from all the Boards of Intermediate Education (BIE), Federal Board (FB), and Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB), who have good academic standing and a passion for learning. HU TOPS scholars are awarded 100% financial support for the duration of the four-year undergraduate program of their choice at Habib University. they benefit from a prestigious education at a leading undergraduate institute, learning from distinguished mentors in a space uniquely suited to their advantage.

Admission Criteria

Who Can Apply?

All potential students who fulfill the following conditions can apply for
HU TOPS 100% scholarship:

  • Graduated from or enrolled at the following boards:
    • Any Board of Intermediate Education of Pakistan
    • Federal Board of Pakistan
    • Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU‐EB)
  • Have completed or will complete HSSC II by September, 2025.
  • Planning to pursue a four-year undergraduate program
    at Habib University.
  • Have scored:
    • Science groups
      85% or above in SSC (Matric)
      80% or above in HSSC (Intermediate)
    • Other groups
      80% or above in SSC (Matric)
      75% or above in HSSC (Intermediate)

Register

Register yourself for Habib University’s Talent Outreach, Promotion and Support Program. Fill the admission e-application form, scan the required documents and upload them to our online portal. You will not be charged any admission application fee.

Apply

Applicants will submit their Scholarship and Financial Aid applications along with the required supporting documents.

Prepare

The applicants can choose to attend a free of cost HU TOPS Prep Program specifically designed to help them prepare for the HU Entrance Examination. The Program will be organized on rolling basis. Participation is not mandatory.

Take test

The applicants will take the HU Entrance Examination

Enroll at Habib University

Admissions will be offered to the top-performing candidates who meet the required merit score. Our scholarships and grants cover up to 100% of the tuition costs, laboratory and semester registration fees for their four-year study at Habib University.

Note: Applicants who do not qualify for the HU TOPS program may be eligible for the Habib University Equal Opportunity Program (HU EOP), which may provide up to 80% financial support.

HU TOPS 100% scholarship will cover the following expenses:

  • Habib University Admission Application Fee
  • HU TOPS Prep Program Fee
  • Full Tuition Fee to study a four-year undergraduate program at
    Habib University
  • Full Laboratory Fee
  • Semester Registration fee

HU TOPS will not cover the following expenses:

  • Non-refundable Enrolment Fees at the time of admission (subsidized for HU TOPS students)
  • Security Deposit (Re-fundable)
  • Transport Fee
  • The expense for books, stationery and other learning resources needed as per programmatic needs
  • Cost of accommodation and living expenses if you are applying from outside Karachi
  • Membership fee for recreational facilities (students will pay this fee if they make use of the facilities)

Note: Applicants can only apply for one test series. Duplicate entries for multiple series will result in disqualification. Applicants who have already applied and gone through the admissions process can not apply again.
