Vice President, Operations & Finance
Shahnoor Sultan is the Vice President of Operations and Finance and at Habib University, where he plays a pivotal role in overseeing the university’s key operational pillars. Joining Habib University during its foundational years as one of its first staff members, Shahnoor brings over two decades of expertise in strategic leadership, financial planning, and higher education administration. His extensive background includes managing finance, facilities, IT, institutional research, human resources, and more, all to ensure the university’s operational excellence.
In his current role, Shahnoor leads efforts to align financial and operational strategies with institutional priorities, ensuring that student recruitment, fundraising, and cost-efficiency goals are met. His work involves collaborating closely with the President and the Board of Governors, driving long-term sustainability and institutional growth.
Prior to joining Habib University, Shahnoor held key positions within the Aga Khan Development Network, where he honed his leadership skills in both education and development sectors. A Chartered Accountant and Chevening Scholar, he is also deeply involved in community service, contributing to various boards and initiatives aimed at improving health and education in Pakistan.
