Dr. Aamir Hasan serves as the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Habib University, where he provides strategic leadership for the university’s academic programs and ensures the highest standards of educational excellence. In his role, Dr. Hasan oversees academic governance, curriculum development, and accreditation efforts, ensuring that Habib University’s programs meet both national and international standards.
With a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Hasan’s academic expertise is rooted in wireless networks and communication systems. He has an extensive background in research and teaching, spanning institutions like the College of Aeronautical Engineering and Air University. At Habib University, Dr. Hasan is also an Associate Professor in the School of Science and Engineering, where he contributes to the development of interdisciplinary courses that enrich the student experience.
Prior to his current role, Dr. Hasan held leadership positions in various academic and military institutions, including the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, where he led major research and development projects. His work in both academia and the defense sector has earned him several awards for professional excellence and innovation.
