Board of Governors
Habib University’s Board of Governors is responsible for exercising general supervision over the affairs and management of the University. The Chancellor of the University is Mr. Muhammad H. Habib, while the Chairman of the Board is Mr. Mohomed Bashir.
The Board meets at least thrice a year, led by Habib University’s Chancellor, the Chairman, the President, the Provost, the Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court (or a judge nominated by him), the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (or his nominee), the Secretary of Education (or his nominee), four people of high distinction (nominated by Habib University Foundation), and five persons of eminence from various disciplines and professions (nominated by the Chancellor).
