The videographer/photographer will be responsible to conceptualize, direct, shoot, edit and post-edit short promotional films for online platforms using a combination of photographic skills proven expertise. The videographer/photographer will work as a specialized, creative member of the Marketing & Communications team to produce high-quality video content showcasing academics, student life and facilities at Habib University. The role has the potential to grow towards working on longer corporate films for the university.
IT Support Officer
The incumbent will be a key player for running an efficient IT support system to provide optimum level of assistance to HU Community. Precisely being housed in library to cater student needs and act as a front face for IT in HU-Library.
Manager, Film Studio
The incumbent will be responsible to manage the film studio with regards to equipment management, maintenance and improvements. S/he will also be responsible to handle and taking care of inventory with utmost precision. The incumbent will be required to assist/aid students with their assignments and their projects related to film studio. S/he will also be involved in generating, drafting and execution of Standard Operating Procedure for the Film Studio.
Campus Safety Officer (Male)
Campus Safety Officer (CSO) will look after internal safety and security surveillance functions. He will report to Manager Safety & Control Room. The role requires shift rotation duty from Monday to Saturday from 08:00am to 04:00pm or 12:00pm to 08:00pm.
The incumbent will assist in organizing and managing events from conception to completion.
Assistant Manager, Travel Desk
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the visa requirements for staff, faculty, students, Board members and visitors of Habib University. S/he will also be responsible for maintaining all necessary records and paperwork for the same.
Academic advising is the process through which Habib University provides the necessary resources for students to make good choices. The primary purpose of academic advising is to assist students as they develop meaningful educational plans compatible with their life goals. The role of the Academic Advisors is to engage the student in integrated advising (prescriptive, developmental, and appreciate). Although the curriculum is well defined, there will be opportunities, both within and beyond curricular constraints, for students to participate in courses and activities that support their academic and personal development. They will ensure that the student is on the right trajectory towards completion.
Senior Tutor – Integrated Sciences
Incumbent will be an integrated science tutor working in the Educational Help, Services and Academic Support (EHSAS) Center at Habib University. He/she will tutor students individually and in small groups across all majors (specifically Electrical Engineering & Computer Science). He/she should be familiar with two or more of the following subjects: biology, chemistry, computer science, physics, pre-calculus, calculus, and linear algebra. An integrated science tutor must be able to respond quickly and efficiently to the needs of all students of every skill level. Tutors are responsible for assisting students in targeted subjects via individual or group tutoring. Provides professional, effective and efficient customer service to students. The incumbent will also conduct test review sessions.
Manager, Quality Enhancement Cell
The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) has been established for the review of quality standards and the quality of teaching, learning and management at the University along with liaising with HEC-QAA (Higher Education Commission-Quality Assurance Agency). The QEC at Habib University resides under the Institutional Effectiveness and Student Affairs Division. The Manager, QEC and Assistant to the Vice President will be responsible for overseeing the QEC, liaising with national and international accreditation agencies, and working on special projects directed at institutional effectiveness and student affairs.
Manager, Campus Community Development
The Manager for Campus Community Development will be responsible for developing a safe and welcoming campus environment for student success based on the Yohsin principles of service, respect, passion, beauty and excellence. The Manager will provide a leadership role in the development and implementation of university-wide policies, procedures, trainings and education related to student conduct. S/he will also be responsible for managing and maintaining student conduct issues.
Incumbent is one of multiple writing tutors who work in the Writing Center at Habib University. Incumbent tutors students individually and in small groups across all majors and is familiar with different writing styles and requirements. A writing tutor must demonstrate excellent writing and reading ability and analytic skills, as well as demonstrate training and experience in education principles and their uses, especially to English Language Learners. A writing tutor must be able to respond quickly and efficiently to the writing needs of all students of every skill level. Writing tutors are responsible for holistic issues of academic writing development, organization, critical thinking, argument, and coherence. This includes, but is not limited to, sentence and paragraph structure, grammar rules, argument logic, critical analysis, citation formatting, and forms of academic and professional writing.
Front Desk Officer
Front Desk Officer will be responsible for smooth coordination between employees and external people, answering and referring queries, receiving letters, maintaining logs, attending and welcoming guests and providing relevant assistance to them.
Officer, Student Marketing and Recruitment
The incumbent will be responsible for the planning and implementation of strategy in order to reach out to potential Habib University Students, for the assigned group of schools. S/he will be part of designing and executing a variety of activities including school specific communication, school visits, organizing and attending education expos, conducting student workshops and parents’ sessions in order to facilitate relationship building and raise awareness about the university. S/he will also be involved in devising various other plans to engage students in order to give them insight about the university. S/he will also be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders of the assigned schools.
The counselor will provide specialized individual and group career counseling to assist students in developing the skills and competencies required for their career interest or field of study. He/she will guide the students and inform them about opportunities related to their career goals, employment, and graduate studies. The counselor will liaise and work collaboratively with faculty and staff to assist with the development of career resources for students. The position requires flexibility with schedule and ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
The tennis coach will be required to provide training, counseling and coaching to students as well as encourage them to participate in various tennis tournaments. He/she will also train and help students in improving their physical, social and intellectual behavior.
Assistant Manager, Student Marketing & Recruitment
Assistant Manager, Student Marketing and Recruitment will be responsible for planning and implementing strategy for reaching out to potential Habib University Students and applicants. S/he will be part of designing and executing variety of activities including school visits, organizing expos, attending expos, conducting student workshops and parents’ sessions to facilitate relationship building and promote awareness. The incumbent will be responsible for devising and execution of the communication plan for the applicants. S/he will be required to take care of the logistical handling of the recruitment communication tools.
