The incumbent will be responsible to ensure physical screening/searching of all females visiting Habib University and providing assistance to Security Staff in routine functions.
Senior Manager, Career Services
The Senior Manager of Career Services will support learning through a comprehensive career services program encompassing employer development, career counseling, job search assistance (resume writing, cover letter writing, interviewing skills, identifying job leads, using the internet and social media, etc.), graduate school counseling and information, internship assistance, and other areas related to career success. These services are provided to current students and alumni. This person will also collaborate with other offices on campus to promote the career development of our students. The Senior Manager is a pivotal and highly visible individual, working closely and collaboratively with faculty, staff, alumni, and parents to expand possibilities for student learning, leadership, and employment. The position asks for flexibility with schedule and ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Senior Officer, Student Life
The incumbent will act as the focal person for student clubs and societies and assist the Club Leaders pertaining to the smooth execution of their events with a clear sense of purpose as well as support/coordinate the daily Student Life office administrative tasks and is responsible for ensuring compliance and accuracy within daily operations.
He/She will help the Manager to support student leaders in the area of leadership development, service learning, campus involvement, student engagement, event planning, university student policies, and will help students with student transport need, general facilitation and fiscal operations.
The incumbent is able to craft smart travel solutions and monitor traveling activity and programs. S/he will be the go-to person for any relevant matter from the pre-requisites of travel (visa, validity of travel credentials etc.)/ booking tickets to reconciling expenses to ensure travelling with efficiency, safety and care. The incumbent should be sound operationally and strategic from the perspective of development and implementation of best practices in terms of travel related policies and procedures.
The counselor will provide specialized individual and group career counseling to assist students in developing the skills and competencies required for their career interest or field of study. He/she will guide the students and inform them about opportunities related to their career goals, employment, and graduate studies. The candidate will also assist the HOD in developing and conducting skilldevelopment programs and workshops to help students in their career development. The counselor will liaise and work collaboratively with faculty and staff to assist with the development of career resources for students. The position requires flexibility with schedule and ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Career Relations Manager
The Career Relations Manager (CRM) will be responsible for connecting, liaising, and building partnerships with corporate and development sector organizations, and government bodies to market HU students to prospective employers. This position will require the candidate to make visits to a number of diverse organizations on an ongoing basis, and develop linkages and partnerships for job and internship placements, career-related events, and for training and mentoring of students. He/she is responsible for developing longterm relationships with key employers, and maintaining communication with them. He/she will also connect with consultants and institutions to conduct info sessions for graduate school placements. He/she will facilitate the HOD and Career & Placement Coordinator in coordinating with organizations and institutions. The position asks for flexibility with schedule and ability to work evenings and weekends, as and when needed.
Coordinator, Health & Wellness
The candidate should be prompt, courteous & neat during work hours. The candidate will be responsible for front desk and administrative duties as well as overseeing the maintenance of the gym & swimming facilities. The candidate will also be responsible for generating reports including but not limited to store, gym & sports equipment inventory, gym & swimming pool members and its usage, locker issuance to students as well as lost & found items.
Officer, Resource Development
The incumbent will be responsible to assist RD team in administrative tasks. He/she will assist team in maintaining donor records, assist in organizing events, ensuring timely management of donor and interdepartmental communication and other development activities.
Junior Security Officer
The incumbent will be responsible to ensure physical screening/searching of all females visiting Habib University and providing assistance to Security Officer in routine functions.
Deputy Manager, Resource Development
The incumbent will be responsible in making and deepening relationship with existing donors and assisting team in cultivation of potential donors, maintaining donor records, leading donor events and other development activities.
Assistant Manager, Housing & Hostel Facilities
The incumbent is primarily responsible for managing university hostel & housing facilities. The incumbent will focus on improving the quality of life in the HU residences, develop residents’ care plan, implementation of housing policies and management of facilities operations.
The position requires an individual who is able to supervise a team of housing staff, gage needs of the residents, be attentive to resolve those and accessible 24 hours a day 7 days’ week to residents.
DSSE Compute Manager
The incumbent will administer and maintain the compute infrastructure of Habib University’s Dhanani School of Science and Engineering (DSSE). They will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the virtual machines providing various services and of Linux, Windows, and Mac based laboratory environments. They will interact with students and faculty to understand, research, and implement their compute needs. The role will involve close collaboration with the University’s I.T. department and supervision of a DSSE Compute Assistant.
Senior Manager, Content
The incumbent will lead the content-development function within Marketing and Communications. This includes all marketing collateral of the University i.e. presenting information (for web, videos, photography, social media, print materials, blogs etc.) in an appealing, informative, concise, and easy-to-understand manner, mainly aimed promote the university, its values, and achievements to the wider public.
The incumbent will be responsible to assist manager to back up travel related queries, compilation of travel related documents and follow up vendor’s invoices and their payments from finance. Book ticket visa software and prepare workings for manager review.
Senior Manager, Institutional Research
Office of Institutional Research (IR) is responsible for generating information and analysis required for effective decision making about Habib University’s policy and program development and implementation. OIR closely works with academic and administrative units of HU to collect, collate and analyze information for institutional effectiveness.
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for research and analysis of internal and external data for projects including benchmarking and competitor tracking, identifying key trends related to higher education and student success. Moreover, creating mechanisms for historical trend’s analysis, data
warehousing and big data analytics will be required.
Officer, Student Marketing and Recruitment
The incumbent will work closely with the Deputy Manager and assist with the production, editing and proofreading of all Communications and Marketing collateral produced by the team. S/he will conduct research, conceive new ideas for Marketing campaigns and assist in devising and executing the Communication plan. S/he will possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and should be able to utiilise her/his critical thinking, planning and organizational skills to deliver under minimum supervision. The Officer will also play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of all events and outreach activities initiated by the department.
Deputy Manager, Student Marketing and Recruitment
Deputy Manager, Student Outreach and Recruitment will be responsible for the overall supervision and efficacy of the department’s various programs and activities. This includes planning and implementing strategies for engaging with prospective students, parents, counsellors and principals through a variety of activities, such as representing HU through workshops during school visits, conducting campus tours, organizing recruitment events, participating in education expos, orientation/information sessions and career fairs, to name a few. The incumbent will be responsible for devising school specific recruitment campaigns in order to recruit students according to student profiles set by the institution. S/he will represent Habib University at educational expos, open houses and other relevant events on national and international platforms. Furthermore, the candidate will plan various strategies to engage students through multiple mediums which will include but not be limited to email, SMS and postal communication.
