Biography

Dr. Hadiqa Maqsood is a Fulbright and Commonwealth Scholar with extensive experience in water resource management, sustainable agriculture, and computational environmental modeling. She brings a rich blend of expertise in artificial intelligence and biosystems engineering, integrating research and assessing environmental systems. Her interdisciplinary career spans academia, research, and international development projects funded by the USDA, USAID, World Bank, and UN-HABITAT.

She has worked in diverse contexts across the US, the UK, Germany, and Pakistan, contributing to climate-resilient irrigation systems, hydrological modeling, environmental data analysis, GIS-based flood and drought mapping, and AI-powered research methods.

In addition to her academic contributions, Dr. Maqsood is an active science communicator and educational coach through her platform, The Blue Cube, where she supports students worldwide with study abroad planning and AI-based learning tools. Through workshops, mentorship, and online content, she guides learners in their personal development journey and helps them cultivate a growth mindset.
