Biography
Dr. Husain Parvez is a leading expert in reconfigurable computing with over 15 years of experience in FPGA architecture design, application-specific heterogeneous FPGAs, and related CAD tools. His research bridges computer architecture, embedded systems, and AI acceleration, with a strong focus on high-performance, energy-efficient hardware solutions.
Dr. Parvez has successfully led multiple national and international funded research projects and maintains active industry collaboration through his role as co-founder of Lambda Theta. He has supervised numerous MS and PhD students, published a Springer book, and authored more than 25 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers. Before joining Habib University, he served as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Software Engineering at PAF-KIET, Karachi, where he also launched and accredited multiple engineering programs.
