Biography
Dr. Gennaro Errichiello is an Assistant Professor and an experienced scholar specializing in sociology, international migration, and diaspora studies. He holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences (Sociology) from Loughborough University and has taught at leading international institutions including SOAS, University of London; Webster University in Tashkent; Loughborough University; and Habib University.
His research focuses on South–South migration, Pakistani diasporas, migration governance, national identity, and integration policies, with particular emphasis on Arab and South Asian contexts and Islamic organizations. Dr. Errichiello’s work bridges sociology, anthropology, and migration studies, combining qualitative and quantitative research methods.
He has designed and taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, demonstrating strong expertise in curriculum development, seminar facilitation, and innovative pedagogical approaches. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes, and he has presented at numerous national and international conferences. He has also served as a research associate on projects addressing gender and migration.
Dr. Errichiello is currently a Non-Resident Fellow at the Gulf Labour Markets, Migration, and Population (GLMM).
