President’s Office Hours for Students
Habib University is dedicated to cultivating an environment that nurtures student success. As part of this commitment, President Rizvi’s office hours offer students a unique opportunity to engage in intellectual discussions and share their perspectives and experiences. This initiative aims to foster respectful and open dialogues, addressing significant issues both within the local and global context. By doing so, it contributes to the development of a culture characterized by thoughtful engagement and exchange of ideas.
These sessions are designed for personal as well as group meetings of up to three.
To ensure that as many students as possible can avail this opportunity, the meeting sessions will be scheduled one day a week, either on Tuesdays or Thursdays, during the golden hour (2:30 pm to 3:30 pm).
Each meeting session will be limited to 20 minutes, allowing for up to three sessions within each 1-hour block.
Please use the sign-up form to submit your appointment request, at least one week in advance. All submissions must include a topic of discussion.
Office hour requests will be processed in the order of submission, with priority given to final-year students. Filling out the sign-up form does not guarantee a time slot in the session. The President’s office will review each request and confirm time slots via email.
Students granted a time slot should arrive at the President’s office at least 10 minutes before their scheduled session. The session timings are subject to change in case of any late arrivals.
Any matters that may be more appropriately addressed by deans or other authorities will be redirected accordingly (such as grading, financial support, appeals, etc.).
In certain instances, students may be restricted to one meeting with the President per semester to ensure that a maximum number of students can have the opportunity.
All meetings will take place in the President’s Office, Second Floor.
