The course builds on pre-requisite content related to functions, their behavior, and multiple contexts for which they serve as an important modelling tool. This course fulfills a foundational mathematics course requirement for the Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Computer Science majors. It is also a mandatory requirement for all non-DSSE students wishing to pursue a Mathematics Minor.
