The HU EOP program identifies brilliant students from all the Boards of Intermediate Education (BIE), Federal Board (FB), and Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB), who have good academic standing and a passion for learning. HU EOP scholars are awarded up to 80% financial support for the duration of the four-year undergraduate program of their choice at Habib University. they benefit from a prestigious education at a leading undergraduate institute, learning from distinguished mentors in a space uniquely suited to their advantage.

Who Can Apply?

All potential students who fulfill the following conditions can apply for
 HU EOP upto 80% scholarship:

  • Graduated from or enrolled at the following boards:
    • Any Board of Intermediate Education of Pakistan
    • Federal Board of Pakistan
    • Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU‐EB)
  • Have completed or will complete HSSC II by September, 2026.
  • Planning to pursue a four-year undergraduate program at Habib University.
  • Have scored:

Subject Requirements for National Examination Board

Computer Science:
National Examination Board students from Pre-engineering or Computer Science group (with Maths as a compulsory HSSC subject) can apply for Computer Sciences program.

Electrical Engineering:
National Examination Board students from Pre-engineering group (with Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Computer Sciences or Computer Studies as a compulsory HSSC subject along with Biology or Computer Science in SSC) can apply for Electrical Engineering program.

Computer Engineering:
National Examination Board students from Pre-engineering group (with Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Computer Sciences or Computer Studies as a compulsory HSSC subject along with Biology or Computer Science in SSC) can apply for Electrical Engineering program.

Social Development & Policy:
For National Examination Board students there are no program specific subject requirements for the program of Social Development & Policy. Students with any subject background can apply.

Communication & Design:
For National Examination Board students there are no program specific subject requirements for the program of Communication & Design. Students with any subject background can apply.

Comparative Humanities:
For National Examination Board students there are no program specific subject requirements for the program of Comparative Humanities. Students with any subject background can apply.

Register

Registeryourself for National Examination Board’s Habib University Equal Opportunity Program. Fill the admission e-application form, scan the required documents and upload them to our online portal and process the admissions application processing fee 2,500 pkr to submit your e-application.

Apply

Applicants will submit their Scholarship and Financial Aid applications along with the required supporting documents.

Prepare

The applicants can choose to attend a free of cost HU EOP Prep Program specifically designed to help them prepare for the HU Entrance Examination. The Program will be organized on rolling basis. Participation is not mandatory.

Take test

The applicants will take the HU Entrance Examination

Enroll at Habib University

Admission to the reserved seats will be offered to the top-performing candidates who meet the required merit score. Our scholarships and grants through HU EOP can cover up to 80% of the tuition costs, laboratory and semester registration fees for their four-year study at Habib University, subject to the performance of the applicant through the admissions process.

HU EOP will waive the following expenses:

  • Partial Tuition Fee to study a four-year undergraduate program
 at Habib University (depending on the amount of scholarship earned based on merit)
  • HU EOP Prep. Program

HU EOP will not cover the following expenses:

  • Habib University Admission Application Fee (2,500 pkr)
  • Non-refundable Enrolment Fees at the time of admission (one-time payment & subsidized for HU EOP students) (70,000 pkr)
  • Security Deposit (Re-fundable) (30,000 pkr)
  • Transport Fee
  • The expense for books, stationery and other learning resources needed as per programmatic needs
  • Cost of accommodation and living expenses if you are applying from outside Karachi
  • Membership fee for recreational facilities (students will pay this fee if they make use of the facilities)
