Project Lab Assistant

This position supports DSSE staff with the maintenance and upkeep of DSSE Projects Lab and facilitates capstone projects. The role requires flexible work hours to ensure timely delivery of capstone projects. Responsibilities include collaboration with capstone students, program capstone committees, and other HU departments (e.g., Operations, Procurement, Finance, IT). Participation in academic lab offerings may also be required, limited to no more than one lab per semester. Flexible work hours are required, especially during project deadlines that include staying in Lab till 8:30pm during crucial project phases.

Graphic Designer

Graphic Designer, Student Recruitment & Admissions will be responsible for giving aesthetical visual form to the recruitment and admissions products, both paper based and digital. S/he will work closely with various members of the team to develop informational collateral pertaining to specific recruitment and admissions functions and programs. S/he will be tasked with creating brochures, flyers, posters and letter, to name a few, which will be used for dissemination of information to the prospective audience along with creating event specific branding for the ongoing events. Furthermore, s/he will work on the execution of ongoing digital campaign for social media and communication for the target audience.

This role plays a vital on-ground function in maintaining safe, functional, and well-kept facilities for all residents.

Head Student Life – Student Engagement, Leadership & Wellness

Head of Office of Student Life (OSL) will be responsible for ensuring the prevalence of a student culture based on comradery, care and integrity. A culture that provides students a mechanism for reflecting on their learning as well as see University life as part of an overall compelling intellectual experience for their personal and professional growth through diverse activities and experiences outside the classroom.

Under the domain of Student Life, the Head will be responsible for leading the portfolios of ‘Student Leadership and Advocacy’, ‘Student Development and Community Building’, ‘Student Health & Wellness’, ‘Student Engagement’ and ‘Student Commute & Residential life’. The incumbent is expected to develop proper programs and activities in the above-mentioned portfolios in collaboration with Student Life team and Student Leadership to enhance students’ experience, promote Student life and ensure effective communication and execution of Student Life Activities. The Head of Student Life will also be responsible to set goals for students’ co-curricula achievements and set-up a framework of tracking, recording and assessing students’ engagement at various levels and in various programs.

In close collaboration with the Office of Academic Performance, Office of Career Services and the Office of Community Values and Standards, the incumbent will also work collaboratively to organize various activities leading to student development and develop a comprehensive student code of ethics and actionable guidelines for student conduct.
