Head Student Life – Student Engagement, Leadership & Wellness

Head of Office of Student Life (OSL) will be responsible for ensuring the prevalence of a student culture based on comradery, care and integrity. A culture that provides students a mechanism for reflecting on their learning as well as see University life as part of an overall compelling intellectual experience for their personal and professional growth through diverse activities and experiences outside the classroom.

Under the domain of Student Life, the Head will be responsible for leading the portfolios of ‘Student Leadership and Advocacy’, ‘Student Development and Community Building’, ‘Student Health & Wellness’, ‘Student Engagement’ and ‘Student Commute & Residential life’. The incumbent is expected to develop proper programs and activities in the above-mentioned portfolios in collaboration with Student Life team and Student Leadership to enhance students’ experience, promote Student life and ensure effective communication and execution of Student Life Activities. The Head of Student Life will also be responsible to set goals for students’ co-curricula achievements and set-up a framework of tracking, recording and assessing students’ engagement at various levels and in various programs.

In close collaboration with the Office of Academic Performance, Office of Career Services and the Office of Community Values and Standards, the incumbent will also work collaboratively to organize various activities leading to student development and develop a comprehensive student code of ethics and actionable guidelines for student conduct. Besides, internal collaboration, Head is also expected to develop linkages and collaboration with relevant external organization to accomplish various goals of Student life

Officer / Senior, Office of Student Finance

The role involves assisting the Supervisor in the Scholarship and Financial Aid (SAFA) segment, of Office of Student Finance, by reviewing and tracking student SAFA applications, ensuring accuracy, and following up on missing or unclear information or documents. Responsibilities include maintaining detailed records of financial aid and scholarships from admission through graduation, managing document filing, and updating tracking sheets. The candidate will handle rigorous communication with students, track changes in the process, and ensure compliance with institutional policies. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in data management tools are essential for maintaining confidential and up-to-date records. The role supports seamless SAFA operations by ensuring timely processing and accurate record-keeping.

The incumbent will be responsible for providing programmatic and administrative support to all aspects of the Dean’s Fellowship Program. The incumbent will work with the Director of the Dean’s Fellowship Program to plan and execute the program activities, and help liaison with Dean’s fellows, their mentors and key university offices in undertaking the annual plan of activities. The incumbent will assist in all stages of the admissions process—from initial inquiry to final enrollment—ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for applicants.

Manager, National Board Recruitment and Admissions

Manager, National Board Admissions will be responsible for the planning and execution of the overall supervision and efficacy of various recruitment and admissions activities. This includes responsibility of the planning and implementing of strategies for engaging with local examination board students, parents, subject teachers, counsellors and principals. Additionally, this will entail planning and executing a variety of activities, such as representing HU through workshops during admissions season, conducting campus tours, organizing yield events, executing National Board admissions process, orientation/information sessions and summer engagements, including other relevant activities. Furthermore, the candidate will plan various strategies to engage students through multiple mediums, which will include but not be limited to email, SMS and postal communication. The incumbent will also assist the admissions head with the ongoing student recruitment and admissions activities.
