Syed Sohaib Ali did his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Engineering before finding his true passion in software development. He landed the prestigious Marie Curie fellowship in 2013, earning his way to a PhD in Informatics in 2017.

During his PhD, he worked in a three phase collaboration; 1) Istituto Giannina Gaslini, where clinical assessment and requirements were identified; 2) Computer Science department of University of Genova where theoretical ideas were developed and 3) Camelot Biomedical Systems where those ideas were translated into software solutions. After completing his PhD, he came back to Pakistan, where he has since served as an academician in computer science stream. At Habib University, his current research focuses on designing novel deep learning models for image reconstruction.
