Project Title
HU Digital Twin
Description
A real-time 3D visualization of the Projects and Digital Instrumentation Lab that aids the security and facilities team with three aspects: emergency response, crowd management, and energy efficiency. It uses YOLO as well as Bytetrack and translates the coordinates of people detected in the real-time stream and displays them onto the 3D model to provide real-time visibility of the lab without having to scroll screens. It also sends automated alerts to assigned CSOs in the event of emergencies in case the lab(s) aren't vacated. Automated alerts are sent to the facilities team in case the HVAC system is running when there is no one inside the premises. A real-time crowd count is also provided to aid in crowd monitoring.
