Project Title

AugmentEd

Description

AugmentEd is an AR powered Ed-Tech solution for the modern classroom. My team members and I envision a different outlook for the classroom, not of tomorrow, but of today. We want students to be able to utilize the power of Augmented Reality as the primary source of knowledge. With the help of a mobile app and a booklet, they'll be able to turn to a page (just like how it is conventionally done) and then scan the marker using the app to view and listen to the content for that particular chapter. For the purpose of this project, our focus is to teach the scientific reasoning behind the COVID-19 pandemic starting from the basics of biology, then moving to virology and immunology, to finally a module on the social aspects of COVID-19.This AR platform can easily be scaled and utilized for other domains of education as well.
