Final Year Project

Project Title

Zaamin

Description

Zaamin is an Al powered real-time video analytics platform which offers extensive and actionable insights using camera feeds of a premises by using state-of-the-art detection and tracking technology to enhance both business operations and security applications across various industries. The reason behind choosing this project is that today, CCTV cameras are installed nearly everywhere but are underutilized, therefore incapable of helping us make better decisions or keeping spaces safe. However, even when trying to equip cameras with intelligence, deploying computer vision models is difficult due to them being intensive in terms of computation as well as memory. This leads to companies, institutions and businesses resorting to manual monitoring of camera feed which is only prone to human error. Therefore, our vision is to create a platform that is real-time, alert-based and highly optimized so that it's easily deployable.
