Description
Awaaz is a short film set within the structure of family life which navigates expectations and suppressed anger in a young woman in Pakistan. The film aims to bring to light and visualize the suppression of emotions, and how generational systemic factors contribute to the emergence and expression of anger within women in Pakistan. The goal of this project is to showcase the consequential reality of seemingly harmless, unwanted comments and behaviors directed towards women daily.
