Final Year Project
Project Title
FarmEvo Wildfire Monitoring System (FEWMS)
Description
The FarmEvo Wildfire Monitoring System is designed to help identify and monitor wildfire damage using satellite imagery and machine learning. Wildfires can spread quickly and are difficult to track across large regions, making timely detection important for environmental monitoring and disaster response. This project focuses on developing an automated system that analyzes satellite data to detect burnt land and changes in vegetation health. Using deep learning models and remote sensing data from Sentinel satellites, the system can identify affected areas and provide insights that may support faster assessment and response. The goal is to demonstrate how artificial intelligence and satellite data can be combined to improve large-scale environmental monitoring and support more informed decision-making.
