Final Year Project

Project Title

Effects of Electric Vehicle Penetration in a Distribution Network in Pakistan

Description

We want to measure the impact of unsupervised electric vehicle charging scenario on the distribution network in Karachi, and to propose a coordinated charging scenario to mitigate the negative effects of unsupervised charging. There is no doubt that unsupervised charging will be detrimental to the health of the network, and thus we aim to quantify the effects of both charging scenarios, so that we can measure any utility from the coordinated scheme.
