Aesthetic Fault Detection in Injection Molding Parts
Description
For my Final Year Project, I am developing an AI-based Aesthetic Fault Detection System in partnership with Dawlance. The project automates industrial quality control by using unsupervised anomaly detection (PatchCore) and Computer Vision to identify surface defects on home appliances. The system integrates high-resolution Basler cameras and an arm to capture and analyze real-time manufacturing data, replacing manual inspection with a scalable, high-precision deep learning solution.
