Description
'Refresh' is an installation that lets visitors experience the contrast between the chaos of a digital world and the calmness that comes with slow, mindful hobbies. Today’s constant digital noise—frequent notifications, rapidly shifting social media feeds, and videos watched at 2x speed—keeps our minds constantly distracted and rarely present. In response to this overstimulation, many Gen-Z individuals are turning to slower activities known as “granny hobbies,” which encourage patience and focus. The installation guides visitors through a physical shift from overstimulation to a quieter, more grounded state, essentially providing them a refresh.
