Description
My capstone uses a mixed-media approach to design an ideal pop-up market system. The project includes a digital playbook, The Ideal Pop-Up Market, which contains management and operations toolkits as well as a floor plan builder. It also features an interactive service blueprint that maps out different service and user flows within the market experience. For the installation, I will create a mini pop-up market featuring a cardboard architectural model and a stop-motion animation that demonstrates crowd movement and vendor flow management. Together, these elements explore pop-up markets not just as temporary spaces, but as thoughtfully designed and immersive systems.
