Project Title
IntenseEye: Real-Time Safety Monitoring System
Description
Pakistan's industrial sector faces significant safety challenges, with 1.9 million workplace injuries reported in 2020-2021. To address this, our project develops an AI-driven real-time monitoring system for Dawlance's sheet metal plant. Utilizing computer vision and deep learning, the system analyzes CCTV footage to detect unsafe behaviors such as missing protective gear, improper machinery use, and pathway obstructions. By providing real-time alerts, the system enhances worker safety, reduces accidents, and ensures compliance with safety protocols. Additionally, it generates analytics to help Dawlance improve safety measures proactively. Unlike manual inspections, this automated solution offers continuous, scalable monitoring adaptable to various industrial environments. Our system integrates advanced deep learning, computer vision, and embedded technologies, making workplace safety proactive rather than reactive. By minimizing injuries, financial burdens on workers, and operational disruptions, this project presents a transformative solution for industrial safety, with potential scalability across multiple sectors.
