Description
VetConnect is a centralized platform designed to streamline operations for animal shelters, veterinary hospitals, and pet owners in Karachi, with a dedicated adoption portal tailored to local needs. The platform aims to modernize and digitize the animal care ecosystem by offering features such as health tracking, inventory management, pet health record management, appointment scheduling, and secure payment processing. Motivated by the fragmented systems currently in use, VetConnect addresses critical challenges like inefficient shelter operations, limited adoption outreach, and lack of accessible veterinary records. The adoption portal allows shelters to showcase animals available for adoption and manage the process seamlessly. By connecting all stakeholders through a single platform, VetConnect improves operational efficiency, enhances transparency, and promotes responsible pet ownership and animal welfare across the community.
