Power Cement Energy Management Solution
Description
My Final Year Project (FYP) focuses on optimizing cement and clinker production while minimizing electricity costs. The Optimal Energy Production Plan Model integrates solar, wind, WHRS, and grid electricity to create an optimized production schedule that achieves the lowest basket tariff while meeting production targets. The model uses machine learning algorithms to: Predict electricity demand for clinker and cement production. Forecast renewable energy generation from solar, wind, and WHRS sources. Optimize production scheduling to balance electricity costs, energy availability, and operational constraints. Findings & Benefits: Cost Reduction: Smart scheduling minimizes peak-hour electricity reliance. Efficiency: Intelligent demand forecasting enhances operational productivity. Sustainability: Maximized renewable energy use lowers environmental impact. By integrating AI and optimization techniques, this project reduces operational costs, enhances efficiency, and improves sustainability, providing a scalable energy management solution for industrial manufacturing.
