Final Year Project

Project Title

Weather Walay - AGAAHI

Description

Our project is focused on creating an AI-powered weather prediction system for hyper-local nowcasts and forecasts in Pakistan, specifically the Punjab region. It integrates Kriging, CNNs, LSTMs, and Transformer models to enhance accuracy. The system provides role-based advisories for freight transporters, travelers, and event managers via a mobile app, offering route-specific weather alerts and an advanced mode with detailed maps and model selection. The project addresses Pakistans unpredictable weather by improving localized forecasting, benefiting transport, logistics, event planning, and climate resilience. Key findings include increased forecast accuracy, and customized insights. Future applications include climate risk assessment and smart agriculture. our project aims to enhance decision-making and safety, contributing to sustainable, AI-driven weather intelligence in Pakistan.
