Final Year Project
Project Title
Weather Walay - Agaahi
Description
WeatherWalay is an AI-powered weather prediction system for hyper-local nowcasts and forecasts in Pakistan. It integrates Kriging, CNNs, LSTMs, and Transformer models to enhance accuracy. The system provides real-time, role-based advisories for freight transporters, travelers, and event managers via a mobile app, offering route-specific weather alerts and an advanced mode with detailed maps and model selection. The project addresses Pakistan's unpredictable weather by improving localized forecasting, benefiting transport, logistics, event planning, and climate resilience. Key findings include increased forecast accuracy, customized insights, and real-time alerts. Future applications include climate risk assessment and smart agriculture. By bridging AI and geospatial data, WeatherWalay enhances decision-making and safety, contributing to sustainable, AI-driven weather intelligence in Pakistan.
