Challenges Females Face in Acquiring Higher Education in Karachi

Description

The research explores the difficulties females encounter while getting higher education in Karachi. I conducted a survey and a quantitative analysis to determine the major causes of these challenges. I found out that family pressure, early marriages, and the absence of safe public and university transport were some of the most common problems for female students. Also, approximately 70% of the respondents claimed they face discrimination in educational institutions, making it worse for them. Therefore, to overcome these hurdles, there is a need for legislation, awareness campaigns, and safe modes of transport.
