Final Year Project

Project Title

VirtYou

Description

VirtYou is a project that uses Virtual Reality (VR) to create a digital twin of a physical space. It incorporates data from sensors deployed in the target location and performs real-time analytics to create a data overlay over the virtual environment. The goal is to perform analytics in real-time and minimize the lag between data fetch and upload. This way, the twin will allow the user(s) to remotely monitor and make changes to the physical location via its VR counterpart using a wireless sensor network that transmits data from the deployed sensors to a database and then to our digital twin. VirtYou aims to optimize the design and performance of buildings, infrastructure, and physical assets by using twins to simulate and analyze their behavior and identify potential improvements.
