Final Year Project

Project Title

Mysticism

Description

The research focuses on Abrahamic religious mysticism. The purpose of my research is to highlight the similarities and challenges of religious intolerance. I also aim to highlight the role of women in religion. Mystic poetry is rife with imagery of women; Sufi poets also tend to adopt the feminine tone of voice. Women are a central and important part of religion. My research topic covers a vast area of study and is interdisciplinary in nature. The fields of study include; literature, religion, photography, design and history.
