I want to pursue a postgraduate degree in design concentration and build my portfolio further in the next academic year. Depending on my postgraduate degree, I will either make a shift toward urban design or media design. After my postgraduate, I want to develop my career as an interdisciplinary designer.

Project Title

Transformation of Urban Realities Across Time and Space: A Case Study of Empress Market

Description

This project aims to highlight the effect of the recent anti-encroachment drives in Karachi on the city’s working classes. The project uses speculative cartography, tracing artefacts from the now-destroyed market, to make an argument.
