Final Year Project

Project Title

Linking Colonial Effect on International Relations

Description

My paper will try to explore how the colonization of South Asia led to a hegemonic lens of looking into this world. How knowledge has been constructed and how it has highly affected the power relations that govern this world. The west for example has the supremacy of knowledge and any knowledge created by the west is considered to be authentic. Even a masterpiece of the East will never be taken into consideration until it is in any of the languages of the Western Word, for example, German, Spanish or English. Hence, this will lead the argument to how the footprints of colonization are still present and dictate world relations. Why the third-world countries still struggling to get out of their poverty cycle and how the world institutions like IMF, and World Bank are being controlled by the West.
