Last year, a survey conducted by Hart Research Associates, a leading survey research firm in the US, revealed the growing importance of liberal arts education among employers. According to the research findings, a staggering 94 per cent of employers agreed that it is important for colleges to offer this type of education. Key findings of the survey revealed that when it comes to hiring decisions, 93 per cent of employers believed that critical thinking, communication and problem-solving skills are more imperative than the prospective employee’s undergraduate major in university.
