ZVMG Rangoonwala Trust Classroom Inauguration held at HU


Extending the vision of shaping futures, a learning space called ‘ZVMG Rangoonwala Trust Classroom’ was inaugurated at the Habib University campus in Karachi on May 5.

ZVMG Rangoonwala Trust Organisation has been investing in higher education and social development projects for decades. Its contribution to Habib University for providing useful resources to future scholars of Pakistan is an inspiration, not just for transforming the community but the nation itself.

The classroom is a learning space located on the lower ground floor of the campus, situated next to several interactive state-of-the-art laboratories as well as other learning spaces. It faces the garden area which leads to the lower court, making it an engaging part of student life. The classroom is spread over 969 square feet and can accommodate up to 50 persons.

The inauguration was led by the chairman of ZVMG Rangoonwala Trust, Mr. Tariq Rangoonwala and Director, Mr. Saeed Mirza in the presence of the President of Habib University Mr. Wasif Rizvi. It was also attended by some of the HU faculty and other staff members.

Mr. Wasif Rizvi, shared a few words with the attendees and appreciated the contribution by the ZVMG Rangoonwala Trust.

“We welcome noted philanthropist Mr. Rangoonwala for supporting Habib University’s scholars and furthering our mission of shaping the future”, he said.

With regards to this, Mr. Rangoonwala and Mr. Mirza shared their delight in participating in the institute’s vision and all it stands for, and looked forward for continuous collaboration with the institution and were eager to see its impact made upon the nation as a whole.
