KARACHI: The Pakistan Business Council (PBC) hosted its annual event, the Pakistan Economic Forum (PEF) at the Habib University Auditorium on Thursday, November 19, 2015.
The PEF is formulated along the same lines as the World Economic Forum and features panel discussions and presentations on critical issues of Pakistan.
This was the third addition of the annual PEF and in attendance were 250 of the leading industrialists and corporate heads of Pakistan.
Chairman of PBC Mr. Bashir Ali Mohammad, who is also part of Habib University Foundation’s Board of Directors, gave the opening remarks and welcomed the guests to the campus.
The PEF had sessions on energy, logistics and connectivity, water, and macro-economic stability. The panel discussions were followed by a vigorous question and answer session and the event closed with a press conference.
