This workshop will introduce participants to United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) with focus on Circular Economy. They will learn the concepts of biomimicry, thinking in systems and becoming aware of these concepts in their environment.
Participants will be encouraged to take up a challenge and develop holistic solutions to it in light of their learnings of circular economy and SDG oriented practices.
The workshop aims to leave the individuals mindful of their actions and make better choices in their work at the university and in their personal time.
The workshop is offered by Maleeha Habib.
She is a Master’s graduate from Harvard University’s Extension School in Global Development Practice. She holds a professional graduate level certificate in Environmental Policy and International Development from Harvard University.
Habib’s previous work experience spans from poverty alleviation with a local NGO Indus Earth Trust, environmental conservation fundraising and environmental education with World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF) Pakistan where she headed the Green School Programme.
