Traditionally policy making has been focused on the decisions of the subject matter experts, with little to no inclusion of people and systems that get impacted by the policy. Historically, organizations and governments have been focused on the outcomes and outputs, rather than measuring people’s experiences and how the services or policies they create and implement affect people’s lives.
This is where design can help humanize policy. This workshop aims to introduce participants to utilizing design methods and processes in policy making.
