Final Year Project
Project Title
Design and Development of a 6 DOF Robotic Arm
Description
The project aims to design, model, and prototype a 6-Degree-of-Freedom (6-DOF) robotic arm capable of performing complex industrial tasks. In collaboration with industrial partners like Toyota and Dawlance, the goal is to create a system that bridges the gap between high-level software control and precise mechanical actuation. Since Pakistan is a third-world country, importing an industrial arm adds to the total cost because of the import tax, making it extremely expensive. Our aim is to create it locally so that it's cost-effective, and this also supports the idea of indigenous technology in Pakistan. The project focuses on implementing Kinematic Modeling and Motion Planning to ensure the arm can navigate with high precision.
