Project Title
Vehicle Repair Management System with Indus Motor Company
Description
Vehicle Repair Management System (VRMS) addresses inefficient manual tracking in Indus Motor Company’s post-assembly repair facility, where inspections, handwritten statistics, and barcode logging limit real-time visibility. The system uses HD IP cameras, custom tags, edge-based computer vision, a PostgreSQL database, and a dashboard to detect bay occupancy, track vehicle aging, and generate overstay alerts with SAP-compatible integration. Current progress includes requirement analysis, workflow study, and a proof-of-concept direction targeting real-time occupancy and stuck-vehicle alerts. The project now follows two tracks: Track A focuses on IMC deployment, while Track B evolves VRMS into a scalable SaaS solution using license plate recognition.
