  • Hafsa Amir

    Hafsa Amir's journey from Habib University to Harvard University Master's program in Theological Studies showcases the Graduate School Curation Program's transformative impact. Hafsa completed the GSCP program and participated in all its offerings. She proactively attended preparatory workshops, availed GSCP’s funding offerings, met regularly with GSCP advisors and mentors, and built strong connections with Faculty. This allowed her to apply successfully to several high-ranking universities and secure a full tuition scholarship and stipend at Harvard University.

    Anosha Nangraj is a Social Development and Policy graduate with a minor in BioSciences. She actively participated in research related projects that led her to a presentation at ASM Microbe 2024, one of the largest microbiology conferences. She worked closley with GSCP, receiving invaluable resources, support, and mentorship that helped her prepare for graduate school. Currently, Anosha is pursuing Master's in Public Health from the University of Nottingham.

What is the Graduate School Curation Program?

The Graduate School Curation Program (GSCP) is a platform designed for the development of undergraduate students, preparing them for Masters and PhD programs through a variety of opportunities including faculty guided university research, intensive seminars focusing on research, and specialized sessions focusing on different aspects of the application process for graduate schools around the world.

How do I apply to the GSCP?

There is no application for the GSCP. Instead, students can get involved by enrolling in Prep School in their junior year or booking a session through Virtual Lobby or attending various online and on-campus workshops and seminars organized by GSCP.

Updates about these are shared periodically, so please keep an eye on emails sent by GSCP and our social media as well.

What is the Summer Tehqiq Research Program and how can I be a part of it?

The Summer Tehqiq Program is now placed under the Office of Research (OoR). Please reach out to OoR for more information.

What is GSCP Prep School?

GSCP Prep School is a year-long dedicated initiative within the Graduate School Curation Program (GSCP) at Habib University, aimed at supporting juniors and rising senior students in their pursuit of Master’s and PhD degrees. This program offers holistic support to students from diverse academic backgrounds, helping them prepare for graduate school through workshops, individual advising, information resources, mentoring, and financial assistance.

What are some kinds of financial support the GSCP offers?

To help remove the barrier when applying to graduate school, GSCP offers financial support, including:

  • Free of Cost GRE and IELTS Preparation Classes: The program offers free of cost preparatory classes, making them affordable and accessible.
  • Reimbursement for GRE and IELTS Test Fees: Students can apply for complete or partial reimbursement of test fees. The amount reimbursed depends on test scores and overall academic performance.
  • Scholarship and Fellowship Opportunities: The program regularly shares information on various scholarships and fellowships to support students.
