Project Title
Mental Monsters
Description
Mental Monsters is an exploration of five different mental illnesses through the lens of horror, dark fantasy, and creature designs. It introduces a series of “monster” characters whose physical features are provided by people who have experienced these mental illnesses. Viewers can interact with the exhibits to learn more about the disorders they represent and ultimately walk away, asking the question: “Are they really monsters?”
