Final Year Project
Project Title
Autonomous Handover & Inspection
Description
My Final Year Project focuses on control systems for drones with a rotary payload and rotary contact mechanisms. The aim is to develop a stable and precise control strategy that allows a drone to manipulate or interact with its environment using a rotating payload. This involves modeling the system with Ordinary Differential Equations, designing controllers in MATLAB, and implementing real-time simulations in ROS 2 and PX4. The project enhances stability, maneuverability, and control accuracy, benefiting applications like aerial manipulation, cargo handling, and inspection tasks, where drones must interact dynamically with objects in motion.
