Final Year Project

Project Title

What Kind of Lifestyle and Nutritional Routines Should Diabetic Patients Follow? How Can it be Communicated in an Effective, Efficient and Contextual Way?

Description

The project aims to address the increasing problem of diabetes and nutrition in South Asia, specifically in Pakistan, which is attributed to neglected nutritional routines and a lack of research. The research aims to understand individuals' current nutritional, dietary, and lifestyle behaviors and their impact on health. The major themes identified from the research include the worsening of diabetes due to individuals' indifferent attitudes and sedentary lifestyles, lack of awareness regarding the need for dietary and lifestyle changes, limited education and resources on diabetes, difficulties in self-control regarding sweet foods and beverages, and inconsistency in daily lifestyle and diet. Based on the research findings, the project focuses on designing and developing a digital solution to educate and empower young adults in adopting and sustaining healthy nutritional patterns.
